Reasonably clean, low-budget hotel. Fabulous unit with comfortable bed. Welcoming staff throughout our stay. Central location in the main tourist centre. Based close to the cathedral, riverbank, and the river and restaurants.

The standard double room is atmospheric and has an iron/ironing board, an electronic key card, and a work desk. Private bathroom is nice. Stunning location near a Vietnamese restaurant top of Cours National called GIA BAO as well as the centre of Saintes, it's central. There's La Sirena offering takeout a 10-15 minute walk from the venue.

The location was great and stunning, within walking distance of St Pierre Cathedral of Saintes. It was near the river and restaurants, the city centre, and the old church. The room was fabulous and fairly quiet, with a perfect view of the street. The bath sheets and slippers were very handy.
